The farm comes to life!

What a month it has been for us so far! Time is flying by and it’s fair to say that starting a new farm during a public health emergency has been a unique challenge - things took a little longer to get started and now we have some drier than normal conditions, meaning our veggies are growing a little slower than we’d like! That being said, we’re going to shoot for pick up days to start the week of July 6th.  Please rest assured we are dedicated to extending the vegetable season as long as possible to ensure that all CSA members get the most value out of their investment in us.

Thanks to everyone so far who has committed to us during our first year - your support is truly appreciated!

So, here are some recent happenings on the farm:

  • High tunnel delivery and construction - as you can see, this is coming together and soon will be where your tomatoes and peppers will live and thrive!

  • Lots and lots of watering - did we mention we need rain? Until it arrives we’re watering daily to keep these veggies happy and growing.

  • Seeding and weeding - we continue to prep new beds for future crops to harvest later in the season.
