It’s finally harvest time!

It has been a long wait for this announcement, but we will be ready for pick-up days to start on Monday, July 13th and Wednesday, July 15th!! Thank you all for being so patient with us while we contended with Mother Nature’s hot and dry June, and now recent days of torrential downpours- farming is rarely predictable, but that is why we love it- never a dull moment! Our summer CSA will carry over in to the fall months and we’ll make up for time on the back end of the season.

We’ve also been working hard to complete the new high tunnel greenhouse and to get the tomatoes and peppers in the ground. This project is now complete and everyone is pretty happy to have that over and done! This coming week we’ll be preparing the wash pack and cold storage area, so that everything will be ready to go for pick-up days.

If you’re wondering what you can expect in your first week of the CSA, here is what will be on hand: 

• Bok Choy 

• Radishes 

• Kale

• Swiss chard 

• Other fresh leafy greens 

When you all signed up, you chose either a Monday or a Wednesday to pick up - please try to stick to that day. Our pick up hours will be between 4-7pm. If you have any conflicts with your pickup day or time throughout the season, feel free to email Emma at info@snowfieldsfarm.com to figure out the best way to get your veggies.
