It’s pick up time!

t’s time to claim your fresh veggies from the farm, with pick-up days happening on Monday, July 13th or Wednesday, July 15th (please stick to the day that you originally chose when you first signed up for the CSA). Hours are 4-7pm on both days.

Here are the key things to know: 

Where: 450 Lawrence Road, Pownal, ME
The farm is at the end of a long dirt road, which will be marked with a sign at the entrance to the driveway. Proceed past the first house, past the greenhouse on your right and you will see the red “Snowfields Farm” barn ahead. 

Parking: Please park on the left hand side of the driveway, along the white fencing. Keep the area in front of the barn clear. There are some cows in the field to the left of the barn, which you can visit- just keep some distance from the fencing, and do not attempt to reach out to the animals, as the fence has an electric current.

Pick Up Procedure: We are observing masking and social distance policy, as mandated by the Maine State CDC. Please bring your own bags for pick up. When it is your turn to approach the service area, we ask that you wear a mask and maintain a safe distance from other patrons. We will serve one person at a time. We know that people can have strong feelings about wearing a mask, but we take our responsibility seriously to keep all patrons safe. If you have any issues with this, please get in touch with us prior to your arrival to make other arrangements.

Items in the share: This week you will have a choice of 5-6 items, including kale, Swiss chard, bok choy, radishes, ‘spicy mix’ greens, and lettuce. You’ll be able to choose what you like, but there will be limits based on availability. This first week will see smaller volume, but as the week’s progress there should be more available to choose from and greater supply. We will do our best to give you as much of what you want each week.
